Important Instructions for Candidates

All candidates appearing for the Jharkhand High Court Assistant Examination 2025 must strictly adhere to the following guidelines to ensure a smooth and fair examination process. Non-compliance with any of these instructions may lead to disqualification or cancellation of candidature.

General Guidelines:

1. Reporting Time – Candidates must reach the examination venue strictly as per the reporting time mentioned on their Admit Card. Latecomers arriving after the main gate closing time will not be allowed to enter the exam premises under any circumstances.
2. Mandatory Documents – Every candidate must carry the following documents in original and physical form:
   • Printed Admit Card
   • A valid Government-issued Photo ID such as Aadhaar Card (UIDAI), Passport, Driving License, Voter ID, or PAN Card. These documents will be verified at the entry point, and no entry will be allowed without them.
3. Biometric & Photograph Verification – The High Court will capture electronic fingerprints and digital photographs of candidates at the time of the written examination for identity verification purposes.
4. Prohibited Items – Candidates are strictly prohibited from carrying any of the following items inside the examination hall:

5. Exam Hall Protocol:

The selection process for the Jharkhand High Court Assistant Recruitment 2025 will consist of three stages: Written Test, Computer Skill Test, and Viva-Voce (Interview). Candidates must perform well in each stage to qualify for final selection.

Key Highlights:

1. The Written Test will carry a total of 90 marks and will last for 2 hours. Candidates belonging to the Persons with Disability (PwD) category will receive additional time at the rate of 20 minutes for each hour.
2. To qualify in the Written Test, candidates must score:
   • UR, EWS, BC-I, BC-II: Minimum 40% marks
   • SC & ST: Minimum 30% marks
3. The Computer Skill Test is of qualifying nature only and will not carry any marks. In this test, candidates must type 100 words within 5 minutes, maintaining a typing speed of at least 20 words per minute.
4. The Viva-Voce/Interview will carry 15 marks, and candidates must secure at least 5 marks in the interview to qualify.

Note- The final merit list will be prepared based on the Written Test and Viva-Voce scores. The Computer Skill Test is essential but will not influence the final merit ranking.
